Come join us at KITE Academy for a 6-week summer journey full of fun, growth, and exciting adventures! Your child can join us for just one of the weeks or for all six weeks, and anywhere in between!
Give your child the opportunity to thrive this summer while Camping Around the World—a dynamic, hands-on experience designed specifically for children with autism and/or behavioral challenges. Through immersive nature-based themes, engaging activities, and structured social learning, campers will build confidence, develop essential skills, and create lasting memories in a safe and supportive environment.

Our Weekly Themes
Explore a new ecosystem each week in our summer camps, from the depths of the ocean to the icy Arctic tundra, as kids discover wildlife, habitats, and the wonders of nature through hands-on activities and adventures.
Week 1: Ocean
June 9 - 13
Campers will dive into the depths of the ocean, exploring coral reefs, mysterious sea creatures, and the vital role marine ecosystems play in our world. We will be taking a trip down on Wed 6/11 to Moody Gardens In Galveston to tour the Aquarium & Rainforest Pyramid.
Week 2: Jungle
June 16 - 20
Adventurers will trek through the lush jungle, discovering exotic wildlife, towering trees, and the hidden wonders of this vibrant ecosystem. We will be traveling to South America where campers will be sleeping with the Jaguars in the Jungle. On Wed 6/18, we will be heading to Jumping World.
Week 3: Evergreen Forest
June 23 - 27
Explorers will journey through the misty evergreen forest, uncovering the secrets of towering trees, woodland creatures, and the unique adaptations of this cool, green world. We will be traveling to Canada to camp out int the Evergreen Forest. On Wed 6/25, we will be heading to Great Wolf Lodge in Webster.
Week 4: Savannah
July 7 - 11
Campers will roam the open savannah, learning about its vast grasslands, the incredible animals that call it home, and the delicate balance of life in this sun-drenched ecosystem. We will be traveling to Kenya to camp with the Lions in the African Savanah. On Wed 7/9, we will be taking a field trip to Bayou Wildlife Zoo in Alvin.
Week 5: Desert
July 14 - 18
Adventurers will brave the desert landscape, investigating how plants and animals survive in extreme heat and uncovering the beauty of this seemingly barren world. We are coming back to Texas to visit the Chihuahuan Desert. On Wed 7/16, we will be taking our field trip to Kid Creations.
Week 6: Arctic Tundra
July 21 - 25
Campers will explore the frozen tundra, encountering resilient wildlife, icy landscapes, and the challenges of life in one of the coldest places on Earth. This sixth and final week of summer camp will take us all the way back to the Arctic Tundra. Our field trip on Wed 7/23 will involve ice cream. Yumm!!
